Y6 Ipad Maths

Today we're consolidating our maths learning by using an app called QUIPIO to show each stage of tricky calculation methods, with an accompanying instruction to help! We'll publish some of our efforts later!

1 Blue say STOP we don't like it to bullying!

We have been making shields to stay kind and stop bullying!

Year 1 Red had a task to complete from Captain Smith! We had to makehis favourite dinner by following the instructions!

Year five cleaned their dirty water in home made filters today! It was very exciting! We didn't drink it though!

Today we used a range of adverbials in our writing, then we used highlighter pens to show where we had included them. We found a couple of mistakes when we looked at them together on the iPad but overall they are pretty impressive!

Year 4 are working hard to create a collage in the style of HenriMatisse.

Paired research in Year 4

This afternoon we have been working with a partner to find out lots of information about rich Victorian children. We used a range of sources and found out lots of interesting facts. Our teacher was impressed with how well we worked together!

How do Year 4 measure up?

We have been measuring in Year 4 today. First we made estimates, this was tricky and many of us found that our heads were much bigger than we expected! Then we worked in pairs to carry out the measuring, trying hard to be as accurate as we could.
